Glint Privacy Policy

The short version
Glint is built to protect your privacy. Everything it does happens on your device. We don't collect, store, or transmit your personal information — there are no accounts, no analytics, and no trackers.
Information we collect
We don't collect any personal information. Glint does all of its work directly on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your data, we do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone — because we never receive it in the first place.
How Glint uses device permissions
Glint asks for the following permissions only to perform its function. Any data accessed through these permissions is processed on your device and is not transmitted to Ginsberg AI LLC or any third party.
- Camera — used to detect hidden camera lens reflections.
- Microphone — used to detect ultrasonic emissions from hidden camera electronics.
- Local Network — used to scan your local network for cameras and suspicious devices.
- Bluetooth — used to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices that may be hidden cameras.
- Location (While Using) — used to label archived scan sessions by city; this happens on your device and is not shared with us.
Subscriptions & payments
Glint offers in-app purchases. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Glint does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third party involved is Apple, solely for delivering the app and processing any in-app purchases.
Data retention
Any data Glint creates (such as saved scan results) is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by deleting the relevant content within the app, or by removing the app, which erases all of its data from your device.
Children's privacy
Glint does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected or transmitted, the app does not target or profile any user.
Your rights
Privacy regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Since Ginsberg AI LLC does not collect or hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. All of your data lives on your device and is under your control.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
